Positive: The host is super nice, I would've loved to speak Chinese so I could talk to her more. The breakfast was great,, the self grown coffee and bananas were exceptional. They also were kind enough to drive us to the train station because the location is a bit remote

Positive: We got picked up at the station by the lovely lady and her son. They helped us arranging a rental scooter. After we got stuck in Taroko due to the earthquake we couldn’t return to the B&B. When we returned the next day we were moved by all the emotions of the family. Would definitely recommend staying here when visiting Taroko!

Positive: The location of the B&B is somewhat close to the Taroko visitor center. If you need to go there by bus you either need to walk to the Xincheng railway station to take the bus or to the station for the local bus near the 7-11 maket. For the latter option the bus takes arount 1h to the visitor center. The hosts were very nice to rent me a bicycle for the duration of my stay, which made the visits to the Taroko gorge very convienent. The room was big enough for two persons. The breakfast was delicious and the host very kind and explained everything in the beginning.

Negative: Since the house is made of wood it can be a bit noisy when people are talking outside or when trains are passing.
