Positive: Great location. Beautiful gardens with a view of the bay. Good food and service.

Negative: The decor was very quirky and not to our taste.

Negative: The budget room (which we thought meant smaller and non refundable) had a very noisy extractor chimney from the kitchen below which also made the room very warm. We had to ask twice for a fan. To their credit, after 11pm the staff turned the extractor chimney off and we were eventually provided with a fan (albeit a very dirty fan). Unfortunately it was not a comfortable stay which was disappointing for the £220 B&B price paid in advance. This is a lovely hotel and the staff were friendly but the economy room price was not value for money.

Summary: Lovely hotel but an uncomfortable stay.

Positive: Stunning location- very peaceful and calm. The staff were all incredibly friendly and welcoming. It was wonderful to have such an incredible welcome for our dog and she looked forward to the breakfast sausage each day! Food was delicious with excellent presentation. Without exception the staff were all very impressive. It was a delightful experience.

Negative: There were no improvements to be made.

Summary: We experienced a wonderful, dog friendly and exceptional experience in glorious surroundings.
