Positive: Property is good beach front.

Negative: I noticed that the restaurant staff seemed quite stressed during my visit, One of the staff members, who was unwell and frequently coughing while serving, mentioned that her leave request had been rejected. This raises the concerns about staff welfare and overall hygiene. Also there was no proper briefing about the property. Interestingly when I raised this concern on the last day, the team offered me property tour which I declined, They aso invited me for high tea, I don't particularly appreciate these kind of "make -up" gestures. I had originally booked a sea view apartment , but later received a call from the team offering an upgrade to a plunge pool room at an additional cost. Given the heavy rains in Goa during my stay. this turned out to be a unnecessary and felt like an upsell that did not add value to my experience. Overall, while I had certain expectation from Taj property given its reputation for exemplary hospitality, I found the services at Taj Exotica lacking the warmth and attentiveness that I associate with the brand. I believe there is scope for improvement in customers service to ensure that guest truly experience the exceptional standards Taj is Known For

Positive: Restaurant and staff at dining was helpful, attentive and friendly. Location and architecture of property is brilliant. Staff is well trained, courteous and warm.

Negative: Your main Bar seems empty all the time and looked dull. Though the bartender was helpful and prompt.

Summary: Absolutely memorable for Verma family. A real Crown.

Negative: Staff definitely need training where we had buffet breakfast ..Pranay ,Asmita were great hosts for sure . One of the girl who was short was quite annoying and was quite rude to my client .When asked about his tea she had the audacity to respond very rudely to gentle man which I had clearly communicated to the manager ..Also similar situation in the lobby restaurant ..She was in no mood to entertain us ,thankfully Reshma came in and handled it well ..some of the staff definitely need training..

Negative: The experience at the front desk was quite disappointing. A staff member, Abdullah (if I have the name correct), was rude and unprofessional in his approach. The overall atmosphere at the desk appeared disorganized, with staff displaying little warmth or courtesy. Upon arrival, we were even asked for additional funds in a manner that felt misleading. When I requested to speak with the manager, Mr. Vincy attended to us and made efforts to resolve the issue, which I appreciated. In addition, the pool facilities were not as communicated. The kids pool was under maintenance, but this was not informed in advance. More concerning was the fact that while the kids’ pool was closed, children were still allowed into the main pool, raising safety concerns. The taxi services offered through the hotel were also problematic. Rates were highly unrealistic, and it appeared there might be external parties influencing the arrangements. On our first day, the taxi fare for a short 5 km round trip to a restaurant was nearly the same as the dinner bill for eight people. We later coordinated with an independent taxi company whose rates were almost 80% lower than those arranged via the hotel.

Positive: Everything, cleanliness, vastness and the upkeep. The location itself is amazing as well. The fact that it’s vastly covered with greens made it the best choice for us, coming from the Middle East. The weather (monsoons) was a cherry on top as it brought out the beauty even more vividly. Apart from the property, entire staff made it extremely special for us, especially the Taj Kids’ and the SDP teams. Narmin, Pallabi, Sonali, Scully and Malvica didn’t leave a stone unturned to keep the kids engaged in a very playful and learning manner at the Taj kids everyday. They looked forward to going there immediately after the breakfast. The activities organized during for the adults as well were so engaging that we never felt the need to go out and explore more parts of the city. Antakshari organized at our last evening by Narmin Ma’am, was one of the best activities, followed by the fire act and the illusionist show by Edmundo. Anisha, Kimberly, Rashmit, Fecho, Ram, Rohan, Raviraj, Ankita, Ambika and the entire team (I might have missed a few names) of SDP including the amazing chefs took fabulous care during all three meals for us, and spoiling the kids with their love and unlimited watermelon juice and pancakes :) the sweet surprise on our last breakfast left us emotional. Even the outdoor activities staff (swimming and cycling activities) and the housekeeping carried that genuine smile and care constant like all the other teams we interacted on a daily basis.

Negative: The only one if I have to pick would be the quality of cycles could be better and if an adult cycle with child cot could be added to the fleet there.
