Summary: We had a lovely spacious, spotless room with a balcony. The host Markos was so welcoming and his team kept our room pristine during our stay. The hotel is set a little way back from the sea front which made it peaceful in the evenings and parking was super easy.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay at Syia Hotel. Markos and Dimitra, the owners/managers, could have not been sweeter and helpful. We travel to Sougia frequently and have stayed elsewhere in the area and this is by FAR the best in town. We look forward to our return!

Summary: The property is in a great location and the town of Sougia has a very relaxed vibe . The rooms were very nice and clean. Markos and his wife were very good host and I would 10/10 recommend Syia hotel. If I ever go back I will definitely be staying at the hotel again.

Summary: Only negative for me is the colonisation of a lot of the beaches in Western Crete by nudists. Here also.

Summary: Staff is very helpful recommending activities, treks, hikes in the area. Rooms are equipped with a kitchen for cooking, hot drinks, place to dry clothes, two AC units. Highly recommended!
