Positive: Good location. Comfortable property well equipped and peaceful even though it was on a farm.

Negative: Directions to find the property were inadequate, the name of the property was not visible from the approach road so we spent ages looking for it. In the end we had to phone the owner for directions.

Positive: This wooden cabin is located within a farm with kennel, cows, lama etc. Very quiet as it is away from main road. Wonderful location for nature lovers. The cottage is very good for a family of four and pets.

Negative: The hosts could have provided coffee, tea, sugar, milk and importantly dish washing liquid. Few more basic things in the kitchen would make this cottage, a wonderful place for a family to stay.

Negative: Internally it’s looking unloved and in need of a fair bit of attention Torn wallpaper, torn curtain and blinds in need of repair, Shower screen in en suite bathroom hanging by one fixing, Generally grubby upholstery and a number of nasty incredibly sticky handles and surfaces, yuck! Stained mattress in main bedroom Itinerary of the lodge’s contents is a work of fiction Being so close to the workings of the farm, it’s often pretty smelly which was understood but I had not considered just how many flies would call it home, as a result it was impossible to ventilate the property without spending the rest of the day catching them

Positive: The property was in an ideal location if you want peace and quiet away from the hum drum of daily life. The property had a well equipped kitchen and was well heated.

Negative: The property itself was great however there was very little ventilation I.e not many windows that could be left open at night. There was one window by the dining table and a small window in the bathroom in the bedroom. We went out and bought a small fan and this did help. Both showers could do with an overhaul. The shower in the bathroom in the bedroom had very little water pressure and therefore could not be used and the shower in the main bathroom although the pressure was good possibly needs descaling or replacing.

Summary: We had a very relaxing time.
