Summary: It is clear that the proprietors put all their love into restoring and redecorating the house, while preserving the history of the house and original owners, and in fact, making it a highlight of your stay there. The room we stayed in was beautiful and very comfortable. The breakfasts are spectacular and delicious. Highly recommend a stay here if you're in the area.

Summary: What a wonderful bed and breakfast! I HIGHLY recommend anyone reading thus review to leave Expedia and book directly with the b & b! Expedia did a poor job of booking and we ALMOST didnt get a room! The owners are lovely people, the Inn is charming, and the FULL, cook to order breakfast was AMAZING!

Summary: The owners are lovely people and are happy to share about the unique history of their home. They take pride in taking good care of their property and in meeting every need of their visitors. They really go above and beyond in their care of their visitors. They greet you with treats and tea and an array of packaged goodies. The breakfast is amazing - delicious and beautifully presented. The husband is a chef and very talented. We really enjoyed our stay.

Summary: The house has a very interesting history and was recently renovated. It was extremely clean, very comfortable and our personally prepared breakfast was outstanding. If you’re traveling in the Hickory/Canton area and could use a 5 star environment to rest and regroup, please consider the Sweet Tea.
