Positive: Its location for skiing in Sauze d’Olux is fantastic . Unbeatable Beautiful Mountain views Outside balcony Warm with plenty of hot water Nice fresh white bedding and clean white towels Great communication from owner
Negative: Furnishings could be better, and the showroom is small. It was hard to know which property we had booked as the owner has photos of more than one apartment all on the same page on booking.com This was a one bedroom apartment with a large double bed and 2 fold-out bunk beds in the bedroom, and a settee in the separate living room/kitchenette. The only bad thing (that’s really outside the owners control) is that there is no noise insulation from the next apartment - we could hear every movement and conversations next door from the bedroom.
Summary: We found the property easily and, having booked quite late and were lucky to get this property. The owner/host comm

Positive: Great location, clean apartment perfect for 4 x persons maximum. More than that with your bags and ski stuff it would be cozy
Negative: It’s a small thing, but the shower was a major let down. Putting the show head directly in front of the door made no sense. When you use it once you’ll understand believe me. Plus there’s a bidet in the shower. What!!!

Negative: The bathrrom were not clean, the floor were dirty. Also, when one of the guests took out the shower head to use it, it crumbled in his hands. The host said the bathroom was refurbished 6 months ago - but plastic do not become crisp like a cracker after six months. That shower was old. We saw this as normal use, and that it is a part of the risk renting out - that something might be broken. We had to pay for the damage (witch you always can discuss is right or not). The beds were ok, but hard.

Positive: Easy access to the ski lift and well located for local bars and restaurants. Comfortable beds and good storage space. Helpful and responsive host when we requested supplies or equipment.
Negative: There was very limited natural light in the apartment. The one bedroom window to an outside balcony was restricted by scaffolding and the very small kitchen window only opened a crack. The kitchen wasn’t very well equipped - there were no drinking mugs for example.
