Positive: Perfect for our group of 6. Really cool town with great views all around you. Restaurant was phenomenal. We didn’t get a dinner reservation but we added the breakfast. Highly recommend both the cabin and getting the breakfast.

Summary: Great location and even better food. Met our needs perfectly and the cabins add a rustic feel.

Negative: We booked a small room, I guess they over sell it and gave us the big house at the end. But all the facilities in the big house were bad comparing what we originally booked for a small stay.

Positive: This is a typical former fishing house from this area. All fully refurbished and really nice place to have a full lofoten experience. Nice views and all well equipped and heated for winter season. Very clean too!

Negative: Unfortunately , I did not find the staff very welcoming, at check in time I felt we were bothering. This might be cultural and I try to understand it but if you are in hospitality at least say hello and welcome to your guests, I m not asking for a smile . Also the cabins / houses are away from reception and I would have appreciated if someone would have walked us there, because it was dark, of course first time I was there so we did not know the place , and it took us a while to find our house. I wouldn’t want to imagine if it was windy, snowing and we would have carried heavy luggage…. So that would be a point to improve in my opinion.
