RIVERFRONT Cozy 2/1 cottage on the Suwannee River on 1.1 acres sleeps 6. Leave the city traffic and congestion FAR behind when you visit the Suwannee River Escape Cottage on the Historic Suwannee River. Downstairs is completely enclosed storage with barn doors housing an additional 1/2 bath, a second private shower is located outside under the deck. Shaded by giant oak trees this cottage features a large deck overlooking the river and a second large deck right on the bank of the river. This is the perfect place to escape, relax, enjoy the REAL Florida and all its wildlife. Access to the river offers canoeing, kayaking, fishing, tubing and more! Nearby attractions: Lafayette Blue Springs, Allen's Mill Springs, Ichetucknee Springs, Bob's River Place & Suwannee River Jam. The cottage sleeps four adults comfortably. Two additional people may use the camping cots (recommended for kids) or couches in the living area.

Summary: This was the best appointed rental that we have ever stayed in. The minute we thought, "Oh, it would be nice to have X or Y," we found it in a cabinet or in the storage room downstairs. We wanted for absolutely nothing while in this beautiful cottage. It's a dream. The road is quiet with hardly any motor vehicle passage, the river is a paradise, and there are no shortage of birds to keep you company. The beds are comfortable, the place was sterling clean, and the living room couches are comfortable enough to live on. The patio is the best place to unwind. I never wanted to leave! We hope to come back soon.

Summary: We really enjoyed our stay here for the week! The owners were very responsive to our messages. The place is very clean and the rain head shower is very nice! Our favorite place was the porch. Breakfast at the table outside listening to the birds sing and river flowing, just awesome! We had a blast at the springs right down the road with our grandson and family! You won’t regret your stay here! Thank you Steve and Cynthia for a great place to enjoy the river!

Summary: This is an amazing property, the views from the porch are awesome. The place is perfect for a romantic getaway and the place is well furnished and clean. They have kayaks and a canoe for you to use, the neighbors are friendly and the owners are on top of things. We had no issues and will be back
