Positive: I liked the vibe of the house. It is cute and in nice location. Rooftop was great. The host was very nice as well

Negative: Furniture including the bed is very old and makes noises.

Summary: Friendly host and nice and cute place, but I wish the furniture was newer, at least not noisy.

Positive: The rooftop view of the skyline is amazing. Extremely cozy interior. Great size for a large family. Several great restaurants within a 10 min walk.Easy access to downtown via public transportation.

Negative: Could maneuver our family van into the garage. However parking on the street was readily available.

Positive: The space and location of this property was phenomenal. It was an extremely safe neighborhood and a super short walk to bus 66 that could take you into town to navigate anywhere you wanted to go. I absolutely loved the older building and the amazing collection of eclectic items. Clearly, the owner is well traveled. Everything was super clean and easily accessible. The rooftop deck blew my mind! There are Chicago skyline views on one side and other beautiful buildings all around to gaze at. The kitchen was on the main floor, but since we did not do much cooking while we were there, we utilized the kitchenette on the top floor because it was closest to the deck. I even took the coffee pot and adult beverages up to that level for quicker access to the rooftop. Also, Mark‘s communication with advanced questions and even questions during our stay was super fast. Jerry, the gentleman who lives on the bottom floor, was also extremely helpful in showing us all aspects of the property when we arrived.

Negative: The stairs were a bit steep and hard on our old knees. However, we recognize without the climb, you wouldn’t have the view. We just planned our “trips” carefully.

Positive: Very spacious apartment over two floors (and additional roof balcony spaces), various spaces to relax, plus plenty of bathrooms and bedrooms. A lovely homely space in a great part of town.

Negative: The wifi didn't work well for me. I know that Jerry would have done whatever was possible to help fix the problem (as he was very helpful and willing to be contacted for whatever we needed), but it was my fault that I didn't find time to message him about this.

Summary: Very comfortable and enjoyable stay in an extremely spacious, and well equipped apartment.
