Positive: The Super 8 has been renovated since we last stayed there some years ago. The renovation was nicely done and included the bathrooms, as well as all new room decor, beds, etc. A few funky old things remain, but the rooms are about as good as you can hope for in a motel of this age. The A/C unit was also newer and pretty quiet. The bed was comfortable with satisfactory linens.

Negative: I comment them for having reading lights on both sides of the bed, but the particular lamps were not suitable for this purpose and were too bright and not focused for reading, such that they shined in the eyes of other room occupants.

Negative: The room wasn't cold The breakfast was not a variety just a box of cereal there was some muffins we were looking for food not snack The tub was to high I am 62 & 5'3" hard to get un & out safely

Positive: The bed and pillows were comfortable. The air conditioner functioned well for comfort and white noise. The breakfast bar was sufficiently stocked.

Negative: The area around the front door had piles of old carpeting stacked up, making it unsightly. While settling in my room, I found six flies that I had to kill. And the window had only a blind with no sheer, so opening it for light allowed complete visibility into the room.
