Positive: Lovely location in a quiet area with parking outside main entrance gate. Clean, bright spacious apartment with comfortable beds plus fresh clean linen and towels. Loved the pool just outside our private seating area. There is so much to see close by and I highly recommend the National Archaeological Museum of Siritide and the Siris: Herakleia Archaeological Park Just amazing!!!

Positive: I don't normally write reviews, but I felt compelled to write this one. We had a wonderful stay at Sunshine Policoro. The apartment felt more like a spacious suite - it had a fully equipped kitchen, with everything we needed. It was modern, clean, and beautifully designed, making it the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. The calm and quiet atmosphere, as well as the nature, around the property made it easy for us to unplug. The private swimming pool looked completely new and clean and was never crowded. The location was ideal for exploring nearby areas in Basilicata and Puglia, such as Matera, Parco della Grancia, Gravina, Alberobello, and Polignano a Mare. We were able to see all these places on our day trips. What truly made our stay special was the owner, Lello, who was incredibly helpful, offering excellent recommendations on local restaurants and must-see spots. His hospitality and local tips really made us feel welcome and at home. Overall, I highly recommend Sunshine Policoro for anyone looking for comfort, relaxation and genuinely local experiences. It's the perfect place for exploring the region and immersing yourself in Italian culture. I don't think I've ever recommended a place as highly before.
