Positive: Great location with big rooms and a beautiful pool. The sounds of the sea and the sea view was amazing. The staff were lovely and we all shared lunch after my husband & I caught Mahi-Mahi that morning.

Negative: The shower was difficult- water pressure not good and was either boiling hot or cold. Very hard to find the balance

Positive: The staff are absolutely amazing and they really make you feel at home every single day. The location is great, close to several restaurants and shops by foot. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the restaurant is also great. All in all a great choice in Amed.

Positive: I absolutely loved this place. The bungalows are huge, settled in the most beautiful garden around a lovely little pool. The beach is right in front with some absolutely gorgeous snorkeling just a few metres away. Very peaceful and quiet, yet no more that 15 minutes walk away from all the services of the Jemeluk and Amed beaches (maybe 20 minutes to Lipah beach). Would absolutely return here!

Negative: I didn't mind, but be aware that as with most good snorkeling spots, the beach is very rocky. Just bring your swimming shoes and it won't be a problem!

Positive: We've never been made to feel more welcome in a hotel, the staff are very friendly. The location is also excellent, there is coral just off the beach behind the hotel, it's easy to walk into Amed or the bars on the Hill top for sundowners but it's quieter than Amed. It's easy and cheap to hire a scooter to visit the great snorkelling spots along the coast. The food was also very good and very reasonably priced, we ate at the hotel most nights. The staff were very helpful arranging transportation and taking us on local guided tours

Negative: For the price point you really can't fault this place.

Summary: Amed and this hotel surpassed our expectations, we will definitely be coming back.

Positive: First and foremost amazing staff who cannot do enough to ensure that you have a fantastic time . Thank you Sullis , Adiaguskomang, Nengah , Oma and all the staff for making this holiday such a memorable one . You are just such a credit to this resort and they are very lucky to have you all Location is also fantastic. Right next to the beach We had the room with open kitchen , patio and access to the beach . I strongly recommend it . The lovely pool is right next to it too . Breakfast , food and drinks are also great Massages are superb too ! Really highly recommended this beautiful place

Positive: This is our second time staying at sunshine bungalows and it definitely won’t be our last. This is by far our favourite place in the whole of Indonesia! From the moment you arrive to the moment you leave the staff at Sunshine bungalows ensure you have absolutely everything you need to make your stay the best it can possibly be. They go above and beyond! We feel like part of the family whenever we stay and it was so lovely to see some of the same happy faces from 2019, like Sulis and Hendra! Thank you for making our stay so wonderful again :)
