Summary: We had a great one night stay at the Sunset Motel. Everything was as expected - nicely updated motel with a view of the water. Internet connection was spotty, which affected our ability to use the TV. No staff on site, but wasn't an issue as we got email/text notifications with all necessary information.

Summary: The property is going through some remodeling but even through that, it was clean and comfortable. Our room had been updated and was comfortable and clean. The owners are extremely helpful while also allowing us our privacy. Definitely will stay at whenever we are in Lake City!

Summary: I’m from Lake City, and my entire family still lives there, so we were looking for a place to stay during the holidays where we could bring our dogs along and not have to board them. This has been the perfect fit for what we need. We’ve stayed here twice now—once for Thanksgiving and once for Christmas—and both stays have been great. We love the self check-in, which lets us head straight to see family without worrying about timing our arrival. The rooms are super clean and comfortable, and with the dogs, it’s especially nice to be able to open the door and have grass just a few steps away. The only downside we noticed was during our Thanksgiving stay, when there were guests in the room next to us and we could hear quite a bit of noise. That said, overall this is a great place at a great value, and we definitely plan to stay here again.
