Summary: This quaint accommodation was everything we needed and the price was very reasonable. Excellent location, clean and friendly owners. It's hard to find a reasonable place with two bedrooms and this was perfect for our group.

Summary: It’s an older place, but everything was clean. Even though they were full when we stayed there, it was surprisingly quiet. The room was big with table and chairs, dresser, coffee, fridge, microwave. The bed was very comfortable. The continental breakfast was enough for us.

Summary: The room and especially the bathroom were very clean. Appreciated the clean towels changed daily. The beds were OK but the air conditioning unit had to be turned off because of its loud noise and that caused the rooms to be warm by morning. Really liked the simple operation of the shower (because sometimes they can be "How do I turn this on" complicated. The microwave and coffee maker (Keurig) were easy to operate because, again, they can be complicated to use. If we were to revisit Fort Macleod, we would definitely stay at the Sunset Motel.

Summary: We found the room to be very outdated and darker than other places we've stayed. It was clean but needed a few areas looked after.

Summary: This is a lovely family run hotel, but their high rating may be a bit misleading for regular travellers. For a small community like Fr. Macleod, this property is likely a 7 or 8. If it were in a larger centre, it would be a 4…5 at best. My room had a comfortable bed and it was clean, but very dated. Very dated. There were a few hiccups with my booking, but the owner fixed them very quickly. On the Customer Service scale, I would give them a 9! Very nice people who are trying to figure things out. I wish them all the best, but I likely won’t stay with them again.

Summary: If you are looking for affordable accommodations within easy driving distance of Waterton Lakes Park and surrounding area this is an excellent option. Rooms were basic but spacious, clean and comfortable. Our room also had a microwave and fridge which was really convenient. The owner/manager was friendly and helpful. A simple continental breakfast was offered (cereal, muffins, yogurt, juice & coffee) which was more than sufficient and was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be staying at this motel again on our next visit to the area. An A&W as well as a Subway Restaurant were a 2 minute walk away so having those options close by were an added plus for us. Highly recommend this motel.

Summary: We were very pleased to see a very clean room. You can see that everything had been upgraded with regard to the beds and bathroom. Floor was luxury planking and clean. It is very quiet there also, we had a great sleep. Would definitely recommend staying here when in Fort MacLeod.
