Summary: This is the best place to stay in Moriarty! I would give this 5 stars but we just spent the night at Motel Safari in Tucumcari and it was definitely a 5.

Summary: Rooms definitely need ad update. Dark paneling’s, nice tile in bathroom. Didn’t appreciate people sitting outside smoking pot

Summary: Great little motel on 66. Carries the old vibe but has modern amenities. Very good staff and a great stay.

Summary: Sunset Motel is a gem! A spotless, comfortable property that is full of Route 66 charm. Pre-arrival communications were clear, comprehensive and welcoming. Check-in was seamless and friendly. Peet’s coffee was a treat in the room as were the thoughtfully placed outlets/charging ports, making it easy to recharge phones — no putting the phone on the floor in the corner here! Room #9 was beautifully appointed in mid-mod mode (vintage but not worn) and scrupulously clean. It felt to us that owner/operators loved and were proud of this establishment. So were we!

Summary: I normally stay at chain hotels and took a chance on this place based off their reviews. I was not disappointed! The woman at check in was super nice. The room was perfect for a business trip situation and the breakfast bag was perfect for hitting the road. They have a large parking lot with assigned parking right in front of your room. I would stay here again!
