Positive: The view was absolutely fabulous! And the location was great with a more or less private beach just 3 minutes walk and Vathi Bay/Restaurants & small supermarket just 15 mins walk over an easy path and down the beach.

Negative: The host was nice however there were a few minor issues which disappointed us. We were told we could not drink the water there (Too salty apparently) and she supplied just 4 bottles of water for our 7 night stay. No big deal, we just had to buy water for drinking & coffee - but considering the price of the accom we thought that a bit stingy! Also the shower had black mould around the bottom, probably because it filled up with 5cms of water each time we used it. The other thing was the bedroom is a loft, very nice except when you have to go down the staircase of a nightime and there is a 10ft drop on the LHS with no railing. You had to concentrate - We certainly made use of the handrail on the RHS!

Summary: We are not saying this to discourage people completely - the view made it for us!

Positive: The location at Vathi is fabulous; the view spectacular and the stone cottage is a 2 minute walk to the beach and a 15 minute walk to restaurants.

Negative: One must be very cautious in getting to Stone House. Driving a rental car, road is narrow, rocky and sections are without barriers and the ravines are hundreds of meters deep. The road is unlit so this trek becomes quite dangerous at night.

Summary: Fabulous location. Wonderful host. Tereza is gracious and generous.

Positive: This little gem in Sifnos made our stay unforgettable. Host Theresa and her family are incredibly kind and, living next door, are always available to assist with any questions or recommendations. The charming house offers stunning views of Vathi and the best sunset views. The beds are comfortable, and the air conditioning kept us cool during a heatwave. Theresa’s adorable and friendly cat visited us daily, adding to the homely atmosphere. The kitchen is well-equipped, and we even received generous food gifts from our host. We wholeheartedly recommend this place. Having a car is ideal for getting around. Leaving this little paradise with its “private beach” was incredibly difficult.

Positive: If you have found Tereza's beautiful villa on Sifnos, look no further!! Honestly, just book it. My partner and I spent the most amazing week here and had the most FANTASTIC time. The view is the most beautiful I have had from any place I've stayed - an uninterrupted and private view of the sun setting over the sea. You don't get a view like this anywhere else on the island because of the mountains. The house itself has EVERYTHING you could need, incredibly well equipped. The huge bed is so comfortable and the bedding is luxurious. The shower has great pressure! It is modern, spotless and beautiful. Every detail has been considered. Tereza is the most wonderful host, such a lovely woman. My partner proposed to me while we were here and Tereza was so thoughtful in decorating the house and arranging for flowers and champagne. Made me feel so special! It's also just a short walk to the beach and a slightly longer (15 min) walk into Vathi over the most beautiful coastal beach path. Don't think twice!! We will be coming back. We would definitely recommend hiring a car if you stay here (but of course Tereza advises her guests of that)!
