Summary: Perhaps I hadn't properly read the conditions of the room/property but even having known we were going to have to share a bathroom , having a small room in a basement with no window is not only a fire risk but felt very claustrophobic. It was not value for money at £80 per night and I would be generous at suggesting it is worth half that to be honest.

Summary: 3 units in the basement of a house. Small rooms, no natural light, and those 3 units share one very small bathroom. Anything you want for breakfast, you have to make it yourself.

Summary: We visited from the UK for a week, first impressions was that it was nothing like the pictures! Outside the garden was dirty and overgrown so nowhere to sit outside. Inside the property there is one tiny bathroom which is shared by 4 rooms, I think this is advertised on the listing but it soon became very inconvenient. The bedroom again was tiny, it had no window and very hot (although a fan is provided). It’s listed as a BnB, however it’s a self serve breakfast and only eggs and bread are provided, we had to buy breakfast for the week. The 4 rooms in the basement must be for visitors, but upstairs it appears there is a permanent resident. This person clearly smokes inside as the smell flows through the whole property. The resident is also very loud, and can be heard walking around all night. In terms of service, our room was not cleaned once during the whole week, no new bedding, no fresh towels. On the whole, you get what you pay for, however this property is lacking in basic BnB service and amenities

Summary: This property is a hostel, not a guest house. In the pictures, it looks like you are staying in a house, but you are staying in one small room in a basement with 4 other rooms around you. The bathroom is super tiny and when you’re sitting on the toilet your knees touch the sink. Everything was just fine, just not comfortable. My friend and I could not get ready to leave in the morning because a couple was having sex in the shower for over two hours. The breakfast is eggs and bagels in the fridge which is fine, but not what I was imagining. Ultimately, we decided to get a hotel room and lose out money in this place because it just was not what it is advertised as. the owner is nice, but the people upstairs are really loud. The tv is audible from the basement at night and we woke up several times to what sounded like a bookshelf being knocked over. Lots of jumping and loudness starting at around 4am. You get what you pay for. Its not bad, just not what we were looking for.

Summary: While it was reasonably priced and in an ok location to get into Toronto (short bus ride to metro) we were disappointed by the rather tired sub basement with 4 or 5 guest rooms. Main issue was miniscule single bathroom being shared by all guests. If you are prepared for that then it was acceptably clean and had small kitchen that had large shared fridge freezer but limited utensils.

Summary: Not so clean in the common rooms, bathroom. Breakfast was okay. Bed was fine. But a bedroom without a window doesn't feel safe in case of emergency.
