Summary: Hotel close to the Bund waterfront and in a historic building - with huge construction sites before and behind the hotel.... You choose your preferred side of the building but it won't change the view or the noise. Of the 6 hotels I have visited during my trip in China (4-5 stars) this is the last worth it (price, service, amenities, location). In addition it's the only hotel that has charged for a deposit, not unusual a practice, true. Yet my card was charged 3% in fees for the "deposit"!!

Summary: staff is super friendly especially their concierge extremely helpfull, as usual China Wifi in Hotels is restricted making working almost impossible only point is the bathroom had a strange smell maybe from the sink drain quite unpleasant. This was my 5th or 6th stay the location only 15 mins from office and two metro station next door nice
