Positive: Had high expectations due to previous reviews and was not disappointed in the slightest. This barn conversion is beautiful. Host Jill is lovely and has thought of everything you might need in the kitchen. We had a great week here and will def consider coming back as the location was also great being central both coasts are only half an hour away, 20 mins from Eden Project. Was worried about the spiral staircase due to husbands visual impairment and age of all our knees it was fine. Being an upside down house was new for us and I loved it. No lugging cases up the stairs as you can park right next to the door on the ground floor where you come in to a hall, with 2 bedrooms (one kingsize bed with en suite shower room and one either twin room or super king size bed - let Jill know how you would like it set up) bathroom right next to the second bedroom and spiral stairs to the first floor which is open plan kitchen/dinning/living room and lovely views in 3 directions over the countryside. Included are lovely soft towels, tea towels and even a tea cosy! Literally you wont need to bring a thing with you, even a steamer if, like us you prefer to steam your veg. Oh and if you cant find the utility room its the building outside - complete with mini-table tennis, freezer, washing machine and tumbler, some outdoor games to play and there are chairs and a table on 2 sides of the building so you can choose to sit in the sun or the shade. Some have mentioned the leather sofa is too soft, nope fine, soft and comfortable, if you like something firmer and slightly higher sit in the armchairs instead ;) Took up their recommendation of the Golden Fry for take away fish and chips and I add our recommendation too, first time I have done a drive through fish and chippy, but it was cooked to order and delicious No need for me to upload pictures as the hosts pictures are all accurate, except for the slight confusion of can we get in on the ground floor? Yes :D

Negative: Nothing, everything was lovely. Hmmm actually I have thought of something, there was no rolling pin to roll out the icing to put on my husbands birthday cake ha ha ha I managed with a bottle <grin> there was literally nothing else missing from the kitchen, Jill even had all the instruction manuals in the drawer if you could not work out how to use things, something which is sadly missing in most places.

Summary: Great luxurious base and very friendly host, first class :D

Positive: The property was in a beautiful spot, quiet yet with Bodmin just up the road, convenient for shops. Gill and team had thought of everything and having a cream tea on arrival was welcomed after our 6 hour journey from Kent! The beds were super comfortable, and the games outside entertained the kids! Will definitely stay here again if we come back to this area. We had a fabulous time.

Negative: The toaster set the fire alarms off every morning! Other than that, nothing we didnt like!

Summary: Loved our stay , thank you to Gill and team for providing us with a very comfortable and clean holiday home for the week

Positive: The barn was absolutely stunning, impeccably clean, well stocked, cosy, simply everything you could want for a short and peaceful break. The host, Jill, was lovely, welcoming, and couldn't do enough to make us feel at home. On arrival we were treated to a gift of the tastiest clotted cream scones, they were soooo yummy! The world is a big place so rarely do we goto the same place twice, but if we want to visit this part of Cornwall again, we will be staying here. 10/10 on all counts, and then some. Simply the best . Mum, Dad & teenage son.

Negative: Nothing, it was perfect

Summary: Relaxing, beautiful, amazing views, amazing host. Doesn't get any better.

Positive: The cottage is very well presented with all the equipment we needed. Lovely to receive a cream tea too :) Liked that the TV had iPlayer which is always a bonus and the wifi was great too. Beautiful setting and a gorgeous little cottage. The owner was very helpful and friendly.

Negative: Just my personal taste but I never find a leather sofa very comfy and the bed was quite soft but I am really scratching around to find something i didn't like!

Negative: Main bedroom mattress and sofa seats were a bit worn. Have definite dips in the centre of them. These are small details really as the home was amazing overall.
