Positive: House a great size , great location and comfortable A few little niggles of broken handle ( downstairs bathroom) and broken blind in top bedroom and a window without a handle so we couldn't close it The house was warm ,fridge freezer a good size I would be happy to book again Always had hot water available

Negative: Few broken thongs that need fixing

Positive: Brilliant location, plenty of parking nearby, very spacious and particularly lovely bedrooms

Negative: Some areas could do with painting and the dining room table is so big it’s difficult to get in and sit around it.

Positive: Spacious and comfortable, with a large hot tub. Walkable to the centre of Whitby, with beautiful views and lots of things to do.

Negative: The cafetière and teapot were too small for large groups - they each made 1-2 cups, but there were 10 of us! Parking was very difficult - I had to park 10 mins walk away from the property. Others used a closer car park, which added £9 per car per day to the cost. It was a surprise to be asked for £150 to use the hot tub - thankfully the owner agreed to waive this, as it hadn’t been made clear in the booking details.

Summary: Huge, comfortable house. Perfect for our family reunion.

Positive: Everything: the house, the view, the facilities. The living room is a dream, I could stay on the couch and admire the view for hours. Also, the fireplace creates an amazing atmosphere! The house is equipped with everything you might need for both, adults and also children (baby cot and chair). The owners are very helpful and attentive, we also received an e-book about the house and surrounding with their recommendations.

Negative: That our stay was too short :-)

Positive: Richie was a fantastic host who reached out very promptly and provided loads of good information. House was beautiful and you could see the care that had been put into the property. Incredibly peaceful with all the facilities you could require for a short break with a group of friends. Keys were very easy to collect from a lovely lady called Anna who had provided fresh bread and eggs which we all enjoyed, Richie had also left us a nice bottle of wine.

Negative: The main route to the property is over 2000m in elevation so worth considering if travelling outside of the summer season as we got caught out by some unexpected snow (travelling on motorbikes).

Summary: Fantastic property in a beautiful part of the world
