Positive: This cruise went way beyond our expectations. Jack, our tour guide, was incredible and took such good care of our family ( couple and 4 year old daughter). They had an extra bed ready, a child seat for the bike of the bicycle, was extra attentive to our needs at all times. Rooms are like the pictures and everything is on par. Best value by far! A fun packed day!
Negative: Nothing. Absolutely nothing. Would recommend the one day cruise over the two day cruise just to minimize transfers onto another boat but that wasn’t an issue for us.
Summary: Excellence. Above and beyond.

Positive: Morning cycle ride and visit to isolated lonely village VIET HAI. Completely refresh and kayaking experience Calm scenery. Adventures experience, passing through small cave hongs (collapsed cave systems) accessible only in low tide.

Negative: The AC was problematic. Cruise used by the company is very old. Vegan foods options were very limited and we had to starve despite paying for all meals

Positive: Fantastic cruise. We loved all the activities and there was plenty of time to chill between the activities. Hai our tour guide was very informative about the area and the local people. Our room was clean and comfortable and the food was excellent.
Negative: The transfer to Ninh Binh was on an old, dirty, uncomfortable bus with hardly any leg room (I’m only 163cm too). Most of the seat belts & arm rests were broken. The longest 3+ hours!

Positive: The staff especially captain jack very informative and lots of fun with very good English most other staff struggle with English however.
Negative: The bathroom needed some maintenance in or triple single room The trip was over priced from what I heard and found later after taking the trip.
