Summary: Our room was very nice. Parking was right outside. The property is pretty. Breakfast was good but the hours of breakfast were strict and not convenient for early risers and people with early planned activities. The on-premise restaurant is decent (prices are high).

Summary: Summit Lake Lodge was a good choice for us. The individual log cabins are quaint but also spacious. The room was well equipped with an en-suite shower room, fridge, A/C and extra vanity area. The wooded setting however makes the room quite dark and the little balcony had no outdoor seating. Breakfast was included in the room charge but unfortunately they do not cater for food intolerances- I am celiac so I could have only eggs. The coffee shop also had no gluten free pastry options. One negative on the coffee shop was the state of the decking- the legs of the bar stools could pass through the space between the planks - my stool fell over as I sat onto it & I fell to the ground. This certainly needs looked at or at worst a warning poster to be careful. That said the Lodge is on a beautiful setting on the edge of the lake. The staff were friendly & helpful. I would definitely recommend a stay at Summit lake Lodge.

Summary: Very comfortable. Very clean. Great towels! Free breakfast outstanding. Beautiful area centrally located between Anchorage and Seward. All side trips they booked for us came off without a hitch. Restaurant and service were excellent. Beds very comfy. Everyone bent over backwards to see we were happy and cared for. Highly recommend!

Summary: Wonderful place. Only downside was the road noise but nothing one can do about that considering the location.

Summary: This place is lovely and the owners and staff were so helpful and friendly. The food was excellent too. Not much hiking or walking nearby but the views couldn't be beat.

Summary: We stayed in the Mountain View Cabins, which were perfect for our stay with a family of 4. The bathrooms in these cabins were incredible- completely updated and spacious for our bathroom needs. Beds and living area were what you'd expect- comfy beds, easy storage for suitcases, and the fridge/microwave worked well. The breakfast at the restaurant was good, but not spectacular- not that it needed to be- it got the job done and got us started on our days. The gem of this place is the outdoor space in general- the lake, the dock, the kayaks and canoes, and covered fireplace, etc. We used the canoes and kayaks often, and lifejackets were included. We were able to fish and swim off the dock. And the covered gas fireplace was perfect for s'mores and hanging out. It really was an awesome space for just being outdoors. We really enjoyed our stay here and hope to return in the future! Brandon and Lindsey were very welcoming and helpful.

Summary: This was by far the most beautiful property we have ever stayed at. The lake is simply gorgeous . The amenities The kayaks the service the food everything is top class. The pictures dont do the place justice. It's simply superb . Dreamy

Summary: Our visit exceeded all expectations. The cabins were well appointed, with each having its own tankless hot water heater. The beds were comfortable, and the showers wide with great water pressure, The lake was beautiful and there were plenty of canoes and kayaks to enjoy. The restaurant was very good, with breakfast included with the room. The wait staff were friendly, competent seasonal workers from Slovakia. The lodge is conveniently located a short drive from Cooper Landing, Seward, Whittier, and the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center. Our family of 9 enjoyed our 3-day stay before joining our cruise in Whittier. This is a great place to stay before or after a cruise.

Summary: Cabins are very spacious and well maintained. Everything around is just so beautiful too. Complimentary breakfast is right on. We loved our stay there and if we ever comeback to Seward this is where we would choose to stay.
