Positive: Staff were really exceptional. Good food. Nice bed warmers. Bathroom nice and clean. Great view.

Negative: It is very far from lachen. Family suite has only one bathroom for 4 people. Slightly expensive.

Positive: The room was cosy with basic amenities as one would expect in a location like this one. The staff was very courteous especially the manager, Joshna. Food was good and they even packed the breakfast since we had to leave early.

Negative: The bathroom was a bit dirty, and the room could have maybe a cupboard.

Positive: Nice property, decent size room and good facilities. Staff was helpful and food was good.

Negative: Smaller facility management issues like, no telephone in one room, soap disperser kept falling with a mere touch, put the bad taste.

Positive: It’s new property. Away from hustle of actual town of Lachen, which I love but others might find that problematic. It comes down to personal preference. The rooms were neat and the mattress was most comfortable. I can’t really comment on the food because, we didn’t get to sample a lot of variety as we were there when the glacial lake burst happened and we were eating only dal and rice as the hotel was rationing. Whatever we ate though was delicious. So I assume overall the food also would be great.

Negative: It’s not what I didn’t like but I feel a little more clarity on the rooms and floor positioning would help while we book. Their ground floor actually is 3rd floor. And their 1st and 2nd floors and below the ground level. Also, while the staff were super friendly during the natural disaster time when we were all pretty much cooped up in the hotel and didn’t really have anywhere to go, I believe they could have been more professional. Coffee or tea spilt outside in the corridors by some guests wasn’t cleaned for days, we had to alert them to it. Obviously everybody is coping with the disaster, but it would be more professional if the staff, had a routine, atleast enquired about the guests wanting a meal, or the room swept. Even in tough times routines are comforting.

Summary: Overall, I’d definitely stay there during my next visit and hope for no natural disasters this time.

Negative: We had booked a premium room with mountain view 3 mths in advance.. On checking in we were shown rooms with no view by Mr. Abhishek, opposite buildings. Only on repeated insistence and showing a picture of the reserved room he ultimately gave us what we had already paid for. Money for the room was charged to my credit card 2 days in advance.

Positive: An expensive hotel with no facilities, no wardrobe, no hooks,no place to open your suit cases,no place to keep clothing. Will never recommend to any body. Nothing to like.
