Positive: Everything about Summerhill Byre was just fantastic,. We originally booked for 3 days and extended it to 6. It was very comfortable, beautifully decorated, well equiped and everything worked as it should. It was much larger than we expected. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful without intruding. We used it as a base for driving days and it alway felt like coming home.

Positive: The property was decorated to the highest quality it was clean had everything we needed . The bed was comfortable and the sofas in living area were the same . Great TV cooker microwave, there was nothing left out I booked it last minute and am so glad I did . We can’t wait to return. There is a beautiful lake that you can walk round with seats that you can sit and enjoy the views. We didn’t come far just from Belfast but being out in the countryside was just amazing. Thank you Cathrine you have a little bit of paradise there.

Positive: Simply amazing little place. Easy to find, yet it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere. Peaceful. Just what we were wanting. The renovation of this former dairy farm is perfection. Attention to detail was second to none, I can't think of anything that we could have wanted inside the house that wasn't provided. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, I had the best night's sleep in years. We shall definitely return to the Byre.

Negative: If I'm really being pedantic, I could suggest an outdoor seating area. There is a beautiful lake in view of the house, but we weren't sure if it was private property, so we didn't make use of the benches we could see. A hot tub would definitely take it up a level, but I'd absolutely return anyway.
