Positive: 1. Room is super clean just like pictures. Very well equipped facilities. 2. The host couple was very kind and helpful. They would go above and behind to make sure you have a great stay at their property. 3. They provide unlimited water including the icy ones to keep you hydrated 4. Breakfast and after dinner snacks (fruits or local delicacies) are provided. 5. The host provided a lot of useful information about the area and help arrange taxi if needed

Positive: The hosts (husband and wife) of this homestay are super friendly and helpful. They enjoyed chatting and getting to know our family. They also helped us find a rental car, provided maps and itinerary ideas, told us where to be able to find parking for the fireworks show (and they were right!), helped us book a day trip to a few of the other islands nearby, called and made a reservation at a restaurant for us, provided an endless supply of bottled water (including frozen bottled water to use later in the day after it melted but was still cool!), had a different end of day snack each evening, etc. Their cheerful and helpful attitude was just really nice. A lot of people who run homestays understandably seem to get tired of dealing with new guests over and over again, but these hosts aren't like that at all. There are cheaper homestays to be found on Penghu, but it's also important to consider the value that very helpful homestay hosts can provide--and these truly sare very, very enhusiatically helpful homestay hosts! As far as the room and facilities go, everything was wonderful! The room was very clean and comfortable, the hot water and A/C worked, we enjoyed relaxing in the lobby in the evenings. I'd love to stay at this homestay again the next time I visit Penghu!

Negative: Honestly, I have very little negative to say about this homestay. You should be aware that it, like many homestays near Magong, is away from the center of Magong, so if you don't have transportation (car or scooter) then it may not be very convenient. Since it's not in the center, you do generally have to drive into town and park to get to the restaurants, but that wasn't a very big deal for us.

Summary: Extremely enthusiastic and helpful hosts added a lot of value to our stay in Penghu!
