Positive: Excellent location right in the middle of Sand. 1 minute walk to the Ferry quay and shops. I don't usually need much when I'm on a work trip. so the self-service concept of this hotel worked really well for me. If you are travelling to this hotel it's a good idea to plan out your meals a bit, since Sand only has a couple of places open where you can eat. The local COOP Extra shop is open until 23:00, so food can be bought there and the hotel's breakfast room has a microwave that can be used at any time of day.

Negative: This is very little dedicated parking at the hotel itself. For most of the nights there I had to use street parking. Some of the street parking is free to use, but getting a spot can be down to timing and luck. This is more to do with the layout of Sand than the hotel itself.

Summary: Ideal for short work trips if all you need is room and a comfortable bed.
