Positive: The dinner and breakfast are served restaurant-style with a table and dishes already laid out for you, along with waitstaff. The room is quite large and the balcony has a view of the lake. The balcony sliding door can be opened and it provides a great flow of fresh air. A single complimentary serving of mochi and tea is provided with the room.
Negative: There were especially strong winds on the night we stayed and it rattled the balcony door. Closing it mitigates the problem, but you get the sound of howling winds instead. For a large room there aren't a lot of AC power points to work with.

Positive: Location was amazing. Just at the end of the rainbow line. Staff were very friendly and helpful. They created a mollusc free meal for my wife.
Negative: Shame that there was no bar. Reception area is perfect but you can only buy beer from a vending machine. Seems like a missed opportunity. Rooms are a little tired but still comfortable. Must have been amazing when it was built.
Summary: Great location but more required to make it epic.
