Positive: We stayed in the “hotel” part of this large beach resort complex. Room quite small but with a comfy bed, fridge, and clean modern bath room so weather needs to be good. there is a patio with table and chairs outside and a bbq. In high season they serve breakfasts for hotel guests but from middle of August you can use the kitchen facilities in the youth hostel which is very well equipped with everything including dishwasher. The beach is very long and absolutely lovely and the sea was 17-18C beginning of September
Negative: Nothing
Summary: A lovely time on Fårö

Positive: Reachable by bus, bike rental next to it, good pizzas by resort, also pizzeria nearby, nice walking areas.
Negative: On top of cabin rent you pay for linen and use of shower etc. Perhaps standard stuff in places like these.
Summary: Nice and close to beach

Positive: The location is great. Right on the beach (4km long sand) and there are plenty of activities on the site. The site is very clean and tidy.
Negative: We stayed in a 4 bedded family house. What is doesn’t say anywhere is that the upstairs (2 single beds) is completely cut off from the downstairs - the stairs are on the outside of the property. This means those who sleep upstairs can’t get to the toilet at night, and you can’t keep an eye on them, not feasible for families with smaller children.
