Positive: The apartment location is amazing, the host was very responsive and the apartment was very cute and great for the price. It could be absolutely lovely.

Negative: The kitchen equipment was terrible, a broken corkscrew, only one mug with a handle, ancient plates and bowls and not enough bowls for 4 people if 4 had stayed. If the host spent €100 re-equipping the kitchen it would be so much better. Also everything was turned off when we arrived so we needed to figure the gas and hot water out (easy enough but quite frustrating)

Summary: Good for money but could be so much better

Positive: I fell in love with Ulassai, but I also loved this house! The decorations, especially the tapestries made me want to know more about Ulassai's textile history. The house is located right next to Camuc, a museum dedicated to the artist Maria Lai (which I really enjoyed!). The town itself is gorgeous, with beautiful views and really friendly people. We also really enjoyed going to the local bar Il nuovo portico di Puddu Roberta! Our host Luigi was available online and was extremely helpful, surely a place I will visit again in the future!!

Positive: Quiet location, right next to CAMUC museum. Lovely house, on two floors, with everything you could need. Lots of personal touches in decorations and fittings. Across the street the very shabby wall is actually the retained facade of the ultra-modern CAMUC museum completed in 2023, where they have carefully kept old wires, cracked masonry and bits of graffiti. It means that the windows of Su Niu are very private because the shutters on the other side of the narrow street are certain to remain tight shut to protect the art on the modern gallery walls.

Negative: You can drive to the door but we recommend avoiding the narrow streets and parking by Campo Barigau, next to Minimarket da Rosetta. It is a short, nearly level walk to Su Niu.

Summary: Perfect house in lovely village.
