Summary: Nice pictures do not tell the story of this place, extremely tough S San Jose neighborhood, overcrowded streets, rowdy neighbors and a general tension not easily remedied. Owner was on site both days we were there doing random things, so privacy was non existent. House was acceptable, but linens and pillows were sub par. Neighbors were gathered in front yard all night carrying on and other neighbor was drinking heavily while parked in his car in his driveway. Trash on the streets, abandoned cars..next time I'll pay a little more for a place..you get what you pay for rings true with this one.

Summary: The home owner was very responsive and easy to communicate with. The home was comfortable and had everything needed for our stay. Most Home Away rentals only provide bare necessities in paper towels, toilet paper, kitchen supplies, but this owner made sure we had plenty for all week, which was a nice surprise. We cooked at "home" quite a bit, and the only thing missing was a casserole dish for the oven. The home is in a busy neighborhood, but set off the street a little, so we were never bothered by traffic or neighbors, and the yard with pool was very private and protected. The pool was clean and well-kept and a great feature to our vacation. Thanks for lettingus enjoy your home! Sharon Ream

Summary: Went for a graduation at UCSC and found it to be a great location (driving wise). Some of the neighbors sounded like they had a party and were a bit rowdy. Good place for the price!
