This property is conveniently located to enjoy all that the local area has to offer whilst also being in a quiet road with good access to public transport, and only 20 mins from the west end and central London
Peckham was recently voted the best place to live in London by the Sunday Times, and it is 'where it's at' as far as new cultural venues, restaurants and bars are concerned. This vibrant area is a melting pot of cultures from the achingly hip rooftop bars to the buzzing late night nail bars and hair salons, the area has it all!
This beautiful Victorian house has been completely renovated to a very high standard. The central point of the home is its fully fitted kitchen with Siemens appliances, including electric induction hob, double oven with microwave, and plate warmer plus a large american style fridge freezer with ice-maker, and a separate wine fridge.
The through reception room has a Victorian style coal-effect fire place in the front room and a wood burning stove in the rear room.
The house has walnut flooring throughout with underfloor heating in all of the ground floor rooms and in the bathrooms. All of the bedrooms have central heating radiators.
Each of the three bedrooms are beautifully appointed with quality beds, including a king-size bed in the main bedroom, and Egyptian cotton bedding is included within the price for each of the beds.
The main bathroom features a double ended bath and a lovely large corner shower unit. A further wet-room style shower room/toilet is available on the ground floor.
There is a beautiful garden at the rear of the house which is accessible through the bi-fold doors that can be fully opened to bring the outside in!
The property is situated just moment's away from a huge variety of exciting and interesting venues, restaurants, bars and cafes.
Frank's Campari Bar on the rooftop of the multi-story car park is a Peckham institution which brings in the crowds in the summer months for it's open-air bar with views over London.
The multi-story car park is also now host to Peckham's new addition, Peckham Levels, with a variety of bars and street-food vendors on a floor of the car park, as well as a yoga centre, and a host of artists and creative business.
Other local favourites are the roof-top cinema on the Bussey Building, Bellenden Road for it's laid-back cafe's, restaurants and bars, Rye Lane for its mixture of independent traders and new restaurants and cafes, Queens Road for more cafes and bars, and PeckhamPlex for the cheapest cinema seats in London!
The house is equidistant from three stations, Queens Road, Peckham Rye and Nunhead, each of which are around a 5 minute walk away. The London Overground East London Line gives quick and easy access to East and South West London as well as connecting quickly with the Jubilee Line and the West End & City. National Rail services give access to London Bridge in 8 minutes and Victoria in 10 minutes. There are loads of bus routes nearby serving all areas of London.

Summary: Property was just as described, clean and well equipped for our needs. Very close to public transportation making it easy to get around with our kids. Loved it!

Summary: Our family of four (kids aged 12 and 18) stayed for 5 nights in early May. The place was spacious and very comfortable. The clothes washing machine was very handy and worked well. The kitchen is huge and very well appointed. The beds were very comfortable. It was nice to have a little yard space to relax In and we enjoyed the neighbor’s kitty too! We used Queen’s Road Peckham station daily for our commutes into the city - it took about 20 mins if we timed the train arrival right. It also took about 20 mins to the O2 arena. We didn’t do much in the Peckham area.

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Andrew was a wonderful host with great communication. We had everything we needed and whatever we wanted was within easy reach. We got the feel of not just visiting, but living in London in this charming house. The open airy kitchen and neat little yard was a great place for morning coffee and for our boys to hang with the neighbor's ultra friendly cat. The music system, books and supplies were all thoughtful and well enjoyed. The house was in a neighborhood close to many shops and restaurants. Each day we either walked to Queens Road for the Overground or to connect to London Bridge/Canada Water in just a few stops and take the Tube, or called an Uber/Taxi which always was nearby. We also walked to grocers for supplies or simply had them delivered easily and conveniently. The last night we walked into Peckham and enjoyed a wonderful pizza shop (Bar D1400). Great access point to explore all points of London North and South and despite the many great experiences we had, we always felt as if we were coming home after a long day to this wonderful house. Beats a cramped and expensive hotel room in London proper. Close enough to get to London within minutes, but far enough away to be quiet and relaxing. Andrew provided every instruction we needed for entry and exit, how everything in the house worked or where it was located and even allowed an early arrival as the house was free the day prior. 5 stars all the way. Summary: We had a lovely stay! The rooms are very comfortable and the house is well appointed. We enjoyed having espresso in the well lit kitchen each morning. It should be noted that it is a 12 minute walk to the train and then a two train ride into the city.

Summary: This vacation rental was a great place.Clean and spacious in a great location with easy access to shopping, lots of groceries store and the rye street for all within walk distance. Summary: House was fabulous , very tasteful, homely, warm, everything you could possibly need and lots of nice touches. Full length Mirrors in all the bedrooms which is great for us ladies! Tube stations close, Peckham is a great place to stay nice pubs and eating places locals very friendly. Andrew is a really good host and very quick to respond to any questions. Would definitely recommend this lovely home.

Summary: Our whole family were amazed at how comfortable, clean and well equipped the house was and how convenient to the transport and shopping.. Summary: We stayed here at the end of a European vacation. The place is spacious and my family was able to spread out nicely. It was cleaned and easy to check in. The best part of the house is the back wall open up completely allowing wonderful airflow. There is a friendly neighbor kitty that will greet you morning and afternoon. She was the highlight for my kids.
