Welcome to “Charm and Style” that is sure to meet all your vacation expectations. This spacious property sits soundly on the banks of the South Fork of the American River, feet away from the waters edge. Listen to the constant charm of splashing water as you relax on our elevated decks or from our comfortable living areas. The property sits at the end of Strawberry Ln, private and secluded, just before the access road to USFS land. Only 5 miles up the road is Sierra At Tahoe Ski Resort, and local attractions like Echo Lake, Horse Shoe Falls and The Pacific Crest National Tail are local must visits.
This property has two roomy bedrooms, a loft and two Full Baths. The interior is decorated with charm and class and provides the comfort and style you would expect in a truly “River Front Cabin”. The Large Living Area and open Dining space allow our guests to enjoy being together while cooking, dining or relaxing.
The main area boasts wall mounted entertainment, a full gas fireplace and comfortable seating. The main level also has a spacious bedroom with 2 Queen beds and direct access to the main level Bathroom. For your vacation meal preparations, our open kitchen design brings ease and joy when cooking your favorite recipes. Directly upstairs is a large Loft with a Queen bed and an adjoining second bedroom with 2 more Queen beds. Most the beds and bedding have been recently updated for your ultimate comfort.
A wide, custom deck covers over ¾ of the house with the main relaxing area having enough room for everyone to enjoy being on the river. During the warm seasons, this property offers the unique experience of BBQ in a private setting with the background of running water, friends, family or kids playing in the river just feet away, evening games with the windows open and so much more. This house is truly a dream come true.
Guest have full access to the property, including a full basement with a cart table and full washer and dryer. We have worked very hard so set this property up so that our guest can enjoy every aspect of this unique property, we know you won’t be disappointed.

Summary: We vacationed here for a week, our family of four before our son went off to college. The description and pics are pretty accurate. A nice house in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. huge windows offer lovely views of giant trees, a very nice deck with a gas bbq, river flowing at the back of the house. The kitchen was more than adequately equipped with cookware/utensils/coffeepot/toaster etc..Showers/Beds were clean and comfortable, Lots of shelves, drawers, tables, hooks etc for storageair purifier was a good addition. Check in/out process was very smooth and the host was pretty responsive.Overall, extremely happy with the stay and vacation.

Summary: Had a lovely weekend relaxing on the deck, listening to the river and feeding the jays. The home is clean, cozy, and well-equipped (could use some wine glasses though!). Lots of great hiking trails nearby -- Lover's Leap Loop is a beautiful walk and goes right past the house. Walking distance to Strawberry Lodge & Strawberry Station for eats and supplies.

Summary: After a long year without socializing with friends, this was the perfect retreat. We wanted to snowboard at Sierra at Tahoe and this location was great (15 minutes away). Having the South Fork (American river for folks who might be reading this) going through the backyard was such a treat as well. I absolutely loved the place. Would definitely stay here again. It’s the perfect, peaceful vacation spot!

Summary: This cabin is nice and was perfect for our family of 4. There is a bedroom upstairs with two beds and a newly remodeled bathroom. There's another bed in the open loft area if you have extra people. The downstairs had a nice kitchen, equipped with everything we needed for cooking, a bedroom with two beds and a full bathroom. There is a huge deck that overlooks a lovely stream in the back yard. There were plenty of games, solid wifi, and a TV with Netflix. There is also an unfinished basement with a washer/dryer. The cabin is walking distance to a little convenience store (across hwy 50). The only issues we had were:1. There is not a lot of hot water. Showers need to be short and spaced far enough apart for the water heater to reheat the water. 2. The power went out 3 times while we were there. Maybe a fluke, but the first time we were worried. It always came back on within an hour. 3. There were a lot of ants in the unit. This can happen in cabins in nature. It didn't bother us, but if you are afraid of bugs, it may not be the best spot. Overall a lovely place.

Summary: The house was clean and comfortable for our group of four: plenty of beds (some very soft and some very firm), and the living room/kitchen area are much better than pictures shown on listing. We had a problem with the fireplace the night that we arrived, which made the temperature in the house very uneven: hot in the downstairs bedroom and very cold in the living room. Eventually the temperature in the entire house became more comfortable but we were a little disappointed to not hear back from the house manager for almost 40 hours after having called and sent a couple of message. I would definitely want to ensure that the fireplace works in the future, but we did enjoy our stay at this house and it is a great location if you ski at Sierra at Tahoe.

Summary: We had a little trouble with check-in, but otherwise it was a good experience. The cabin is nice and cozy and it’s riverside location is amazing. Perfect for two families to share.
