Positive: This is a very tastefully done property, full of character but with all the modern amenities you need, and more. It is absolutely spotless and everything matches! The welcome pack is a very sweet touch and there is literally everything thought of down to the little bedside torch and sewing kit. It is about a 20 minute walk into town and there are 2 local supermarkets minutes away. The parking is on the road and was never a problem, only a 30 second walk. The family live in the main house and this is the annexe so it’s nice to know they are easily contactable should you need them. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would 100% recommend this property.

Negative: Little bit of a walk into Colchester centre to Colchester Castle Park - but certainly do-able. Not a big issue at all.

Positive: Victoria and Alex really know how to host! From the helpful and friendly pre- arrival communication, to all the thoughtful details in the beautifully presented property, everything was done with so much care and warmth. The apartment really is stunning too and I had the best sleep each night! I was extremely sad to leave and very much hope to stay again. :)
