Negative: Just a few minor suggestions: 1). Need a blind or curtain on back bedroom window and on kitchen windows facing back alley. 2). Odd but there was Only one washcloth but had plenty of towels.

Positive: The top floor appartment was spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was large and had a dishwasher. My sons enjoyed the videogame machine and the huge TV. The beds were comfortable and there was a large walk in closet which made up for the very small bedrooms. The washing machine and dryer were a huge bonus. Once in the property the hosts were responsive (I think the owner has employed others to deal with this). We would definitely recommend this place for a family. We were able to park outside the property most days but weren't fast enough to move the car on the Wednesday when there was no parking until 2pm on that side of the road. We walked to the metro station to take the 'L' into the city, it was about a 10 minute walk. I believe busses may have been closer but we like the train. Overall we felt the property offered good value. This is our first stay in a USA AirBnB (though we booked through booking.com) so we only have UK properties to compare it to where we find hosts to be very proactive.

Negative: The day before check in, I still hadn't recieved check-in instructions so I messaged on the evening requesting them. I then recieved a call from them at 1.30am!! asking for my email address to send the instructions. As anyone knows, a call at that time instantly causes panic as you are awoken from a deep sleep, I struggled to get back to sleep and worried it was a scammer as I couldn't fathom why anyone would call at that time in the morning. I did give my email address but it didn't get through and I ended up having to call them whilst standing at the door of the property! The call went to voicemail but they called back instantly and we were able to get in. I'm not sure why the information couldn't be sent via the messages along with the other instructions (which they did eventually put on booking.com messager after the email failed). I have 3 sons so my youngest slept on the sofa bed in the livingroom. We couldn't find a complete set of bedding for this; we found two flat sheets, a pillowcase (no pillow) and a fitted sheet for a single bed that was too small to fit. The information folder in the property didn't help as it seemed to be for a different property with a pool! We used the two sheets and a pillow from another bed along with some fleece blankets that were around (but were not large enough to cover the bed hence two were required). The inside of the sofa bed did noot seem as though it had been cleaned as it had hair and fluff on it (as did the flat sheets). We didn't discover the bedding issue until bedtime and we were so busy the next day that we forgot all about it until bedtime again. I suspect the hosts may have attempted to remedy the issue but |I didn't contact them about it so I don't know. They were responsive once in the property. These were the only issues and although we didn't recieve a good initial impression, we did enjoy our stay and would recommend it.
