This beautiful villa with a large pool is situated in the hinterland of Split (UNESCO), Dalmatia's metropolis, in a small place called „Dugopolje“. With somewhat over 3400 residents, in this place you can find yourself some piece and relaxation. For people who like an active vacation there are numerous hiking and cycling tracks, as well as climbing the Mosor mountain, visiting the Vranjača cave, the Clissa fortress or antient Salona's ruins and river-rafting on Cetina. In the business centre of Dugopolje you can find stores like Nike, Adidas or Calzedonia which are even opened on Sundays. Only the Mosor mountain separates us from the Adriatic sea coastline; it takes only 15 minutes of driving to be on one of many beautiful beaches of Split. It is also near cities of Trogir, Omiš and Šibenik; you can visit the Krka national park which is easily accessible by the A1 highway.
The Space
Villa Sofia is set independently within it`s own lawned garden (1.100m2) and large swimming pool,(30m2 ), amongst peaceful countryside, nestled between a quiet idyllic green hills which offers a chance to relax and connect with nature. For those who want to be always on the move, the surrounding countryside provides a great venue for hiking and biking.
Villa itself has a two wings separated with summer kitchen, each wing is completely independent, fully air- conditioned, completely equipped with all amenities you might need during your holiday, all together can accommodate 11 people.
Summer kitchen is ideal for BBQ dinners „Al fressco“ and large familiy gathering.
The right villa wing on the ground floor has bathroom, kitchen-dining-living area with direct aces to the terrace by the pool with lounge furniture. On the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms, each one with balcony and one bedroom for 3 person.
The left wing on the ground floor has a kitchen, living area with double sofa bed, one bathroom and one double „en suite“ bedroom, ideal for disabled people.
There is also a little gym.
On the on the first floor there is a two single bed bedroom, and a playroom with amusement games ( PlayStation4...).
From the play room you entering the two terraces, one with wooden floor and JACUZZI and other is ideal for sunbathing and enjoying a view on a sunset and idyllic green hills.

Summary: We stayed as a family group with 6 adults and 4 children for our parents 70th birthday. It was a wonderful visit. The villa is lovely with amazing views and a short drive to split town. Ivica was very helpful and made the check in process very easy. We had a great time and would love to go back.

Summary: Fabulous 10 night stay at this lovely villa with the family , 8 adults, 1 teen , and 14 month child, everything we required was on hand. Special thanks to the Ivica who was so helpful always available to answer any queries he even arranged birthday meal and cake at the local restaurant for my daughter, I would highly recommend this villa to anybody thinking of trip to Croatia, please note you will need a car to reach some of the local towns , our favourite being Trogir.

Summary: This property is lovely. The owner Ivica is a great guy, very easy to communicate with and will assist whenever required. Ideal base for exploring Split, Trogir, Brela and many of the nearby islands. Quiet neighbourhood, but good local facilities for food shopping etc. Highly recommended 👌

Summary: After spending a few days in Dubrovnik, my group and I knew we wanted to also explore other areas of Croatia to get an authentic Dalmatian experience. Ivica greeted us upon arrival and showed us his wonderful villa that would be our home for the remainder of our stay. His warm and friendly manner was so welcoming. In addition to providing us with useful information, he connected our group with Ivan, who not only made himself available for transportation, but also along with his family made the trip really special, including a meal at his mother in law’s house! After day long adventures we enjoyed the spacious villa, pool, hot tub and the opportunity for building amazing memories together. I highly recommend staying here! Hvala!

Summary: 12 of us , adults and teenagers rented this gorgeous villa. The lay out of the two villas put together was perfect for us, as everyone had the space they needed. The pool and hot tub were a real hit with us all and it was so relaxing sitting out overlooking the beautiful mountain view. Ivica and his wife Sofia were so very charming, kind and attentive. They were on hand to help with any queries we had in any way and always responded quickly and in the most helpful way. Likewise, Ivan the taxi / transfer guy was so helpful and always there if we needed him. He even brought us some of his yummy home grown tomato and cucumber. All in all I would thoroughly recommend this villas for a fantastic holiday. Croatia is stunning, so much to see, we need to return. You do need a car at this villa as there is not much close by.

Summary: We were a group of 11 girls and we had a lovely short break in the villa. The owners were very helpful and even took us shopping to buy some food. They checked often to see if we were having a nice time and were on hand if we needed anything. Would highly recommend.
