Timberline Haus is a stunning modern home overlooking Barker Reservoir. This home is just a quick 15-minute drive from Eldora Ski Resort and is optimally located to enjoy first-tracks on the slopes before the mid-morning rush. After enjoying a day in the mountains, stop on by and experience the local fun in downtown Nederland. NOTE: Home has beds to accommodate 10 people, but occupancy is limited to 6 per Boulder County.
The dirt road to the home can be challenging, especially in winter. Please consider 4x4 or at least All Wheel Drive. When you first pull up to this home, you will notice its nothing like any of the other properties around! You will be able to park your car in the garage and head right into this beautiful home. There is free wifi throughout the home. When you first walk in from the garage you will be in the "mud room" and that's where the washer and dryer are which you have access to during your stay. You will probably notice all the floors are concrete and heated, neat! Once you get into the house you will be swept away by the views overlooking the Barker Reservoir, and how open the floor plan is with the kitchen and living room. Step outside to the huge deck where you can enjoy a nice BBQ dinner while hanging by the fire pit with the family. Please note: It is difficult to darken the living room for daytime TV or movie viewing. There is a flat screen in the bunk room for better day viewing but not a lot of seating.
The master bedroom is on the main floor and is filled with ceiling to floor windows overlooking the reservoir. Don't worry, we have black out curtains for when you need a nap after skiing or hiking all day. There is a master bathroom attached to the master bedroom and a huge closet! Working your way downstairs is where you will find 2 more bedrooms, and a bathroom. One of the bedrooms has a queen bed and an attached bathroom and the other bedroom has 2 big bunkbeds where you can send the kids to play. Stepping outside from the downstairs you will find a covered back deck with a hot tub. The views while sitting in the hot tub are just spectacular and a great way to finish up your day in the mountains! Boulder County License: VR-21-0002

Summary: This is the second time we pick this property for our winter vacation and we absolutely love it. This is a modern and well equiped property. The views are amazing and the comunication with the property manager was great. We will be back next year.

Summary: The house is better and larger than it looks in the photo's. The view is bigger and wider than the photo's. It's very quite there we were the only ones on the hill when we were there. The sliders on the glass wall open so you have a 16 to 18 foot opening to the deck. Drive around the mountains around Nederland has a lot of trails and not that many people like Estes Park has. Nederland has good places to eat. The local store is good also if you want to do your own cooking and the house is set up to do that and it's nice to look at that view while you are eating.

Summary: We absolutely loved our time at this property. It’s exactly as described, even more beautiful in person. The views were breathtaking. We had a slight issue checking in (code wasn’t working) but the property management team was great and extremely responsive and got us in right away! I highly recommend this property. There is so much to do within the property and it’s a close drive to the downtown area that was very quaint and exactly what we were looking for. If we are back in the area, we would want to stay at this property again!

Summary: Every time i stay at a hotel or i rent any property i think that next time at this area I'll stay at a different place just to try something new. This house is so excellent that i want to stay only here if i happen to travel to Colorado again. Floor plan, design, location exceeded our expectations. We were only sad when we were leaving it.

Summary: I have stayed at rental properties all over the country. I have never experienced the perfect property....until now. Everything about this place is the pinnacle of perfection. It is the perfect hoise, in the perfect location. The staff of Skyrun is world class. Upon check-in, they texted me with a number that made them available 24/7. If you have any little ones, the house comes stocked with things to make life simple. High chair, baby gate, back packer for hiking, etc. Then, there are the views. Ive never been in awe like that. Opening the wall of glass and having an open air home to stay in was perfect. You will not regret staying here!

Summary: We loved this place. The hot tub, bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living room, and especially THE VIEW. The one caveat would be that the main TV could use a change is the projector TV is useless when there is a sunny day (sunlight drowns out the projector). THanks for a great place.

Summary: This beautiful home was perfect for our family! Nederland never fails to have outstanding restaurants for such a small town. Close to many trails of various hiking levels. Very comfortable, fantastic views! Communiation with Linda and staff at SkyRun was great!

Summary: What an exceptional property! Perfect blend of clean and modern yet comfy and cozy! Almost at the peak of a mountain with unobstructed, stunning views. Perfect temperatures in the summer! Imagine being less than 30 minutes from Boulder, the city that has everything you could possibly need AND less than a 2 mile walk/run/drive to the adorable small town of Nederland. Can only imagine how wonderful this place would be during Ski Season. While we typically ski other areas of Colorado, after staying in Nederland, we would definitely consider coming back to this house and skiing Eldora. We have stayed in so many vacation homes and this was definitely one of the best. Top notch. Thank you for sharing your lovely home!
