Positive: House was very nice. Having multiple bathrooms worked well. The view can't be beat. Great location. Easy access from the main road and quiet.

Negative: House does need some TLC. Bathroom fixtures falling off the wall and some lights too.

Positive: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and this stunning beach house. On a bluff overlooking the Pacific Ocean, the constant roar of the waves was calming and just what we needed. Great location just outside of Bodega Bay and an easy walk to the near by beach. Our time there was spent with family - lots of fun, and our hikes were great. The weather was perfect! Hosts were prompt in responses to questions.

Negative: The alarm beeped for reasons unknown, but then would stop and start again. Only during the day.

Summary: Great place to stay to get away from valley heat and relax with friends/family.

Negative: There were bugs and water damage from recent storms. Didn’t feel that clean but hard to tell if that was from the storms or was the norm.

Positive: The house has a stunning view from the living room, porch and back bedroom; the living room, dining area and kitchen are in a nice open plan with a high ceiling, and the bedrooms have plenty of room - three doubles and one bunkbed in total, three 1/2 bathrooms. What they don't tell you is that highway 101 has been diverted about 100 yards away - it used to run right by the front door, now it's much more pleasant than it must have been in the past.

Negative: You get these check in emails that must be automatic because when I replied there was no reply - the hot water didn't work in one of the bathrooms, no reply. There's no heat in the living room, just a wood stove, but not enough wood to make a fire, no reply. You get the feeling it's run on auto-pilot, just waiting until the day the house slides into the ocean, which won't be long, because it's already tilting, the back of the neighbor's house is already gone and some of the old highway (which is why they diverted it)...so don't wait too long!
