The Cartlodge is a modern 1st floor studio apartment in Horringer, Bury St Edmunds. It is situated above our large detached garage and is accessed via an external steel staircase.
Inside you'll find a King size bed, kitchen area, bathroom, wardrobe, small dining table, cuddle sofa, 32" Smart TV (streaming only), cuddle sofa and a wood burning stove. There is also a 70" ceiling mounted projector with Google Chromecast, positioned perfectly for watching Netflix in bed (guest Subscription access included).
The kitchen comprises of an induction hob, oven, microwave and silent mini fridge, complete with all the cookware, dinnerware and utensils you'll need for your stay.
Towels and bed sheets are provided as well as complimentary tea & coffee, with a pint of milk in the fridge.
Private off-street parking makes this an ideal spot for 1 or 2 people visiting the market town or wishing to explore the National Trust estate for a short getaway or work trip, with the choice of two excellent village pubs serving food most days for those not wishing to cook, (some Deliveroo, Just Eat, and Uber Eats options too).

Summary: Property was beautifully presented, all the kitchen equipment needed for some basic cooking, host very helpful. Out of town but plenty of takeaway options and two local pubs in easy walking distance. Great place to explore Suffolk with easy connection to the A14.

Summary: Cute little place with all you need for a short stay. Comfortable bed and soft towels. All kitchen essentials (only thing missing were instructions on how to use hob). Great location - walking distance to pub and bus stop into Bury. 9 taxi back in evening. A little info pack on local area would have been nice, but Simon helpful with Qs. Fresh local eggs available a few doors down - yum!

Summary: This was a lovely little getaway. Perfect for solo travellers as well! Owners were lovely and gave a lovely little tour at the start. Ideal place for visiting Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding area. Would highly recommend!
