Summary: It is on an industrial road that is a service road for Int 45. At night we heard we heard trains on 3 occasions, 2 emergency vehicles, and several outside loud conversations close to our door, in addition to freeway traffic. Also the Motel 6 sign was unlit the whole time, in fact it was still off 7 days later as we passed it after our cruise.

Summary: This was a cheap hotel for a budget getaway. The room as small, but clean, had a microwave, full fridge, and two beds. No frills, in slightly industrial area, but very close to everything. 4 nights for under $300 was definitely worth it, and would stay there again. Very nice staff. Say hi to Vernon for me!

Summary: The design of the room is not the best with a big old refrigerator in the middle of it and then there's no plugs to do your makeup and the actual bathroom. So you have to bring your own mirror if you want to see what you're doing. It's a motel. 6. That's now called the studio.

Summary: This is NOT a Studio 6...this is a Motel 6 with a full size fridge. No kitchenette, no toiletries, no coffeepot, no hair dryer...room stunk badly. Staff was nice. They wanted a $50 deposit for a coffeepot.

Summary: Updated. Clean. Friendly. 100% recommend for pre-cruise or post-cruise. They even allow cruise parking for free. No shuttle, Uber $15-$20 to cruise terminal.

Summary: It was the cleanest, nicest Motel/Studio 6 my husband and I have ever stayed in. The outside looks a bit older but the rooms were amazing. If we are ever in Galveston again I would happily stay there again!
