Positive: I liked that I lived there as people used to live 200 years ago. You want a bath, bring water, make fire and make it hot. Do you want to pea? Go outside to the small toilet. Great experience.

Positive: The location is really remote, we saw two persons in one week, but many cows, sheep, deer and birds. There’s no running water, you have to get it from a small stream nearby. If you want to take a shower, you can also get the water from there or you drive 20min down the valley to the host, where it is very clean and comfy. The loo is outside the building, also without water. Inside the house you find a wood stove as well as a fridge and cooking station fuelled with gas. There’s no phone or internet connection, which helps to disconnect from home/work and really enjoy nature. The stay feels like life must have been 100 years ago. Great! We stayed 8 days, together with a four year old.

Positive: The cabin was cozy and beautiful. The view was absolutely amazing! A group of young cows lived kind of freely on the mountain and it was so lovely to see them grazing right on the other side of the fence around the cabin. Loved it!

Negative: The path down to the outhouse is steep, so make sure you are wearing proper footwear or you might land on your butt 😅

Summary: Beautiful and quiet, takes you back to a more simple time.
