Summary: This hotel is over-priced for the quality of the rooms. Although the welcome is friendly enough the rooms are quite shabby and in need of refurbishment. No TV in the room either. OK for a 1 night stay if the location and free parking is what you want.

Summary: This was our favourite accommodation on our 12 day trip around Scotland, due to the hospitality of the owners and the excellent food. Our American friends who are very fussy eaters, raved about the food, and my wife said that the porridge was the best in Scotland. Thank you Richard, Becca, Charlotte and the staff for a wonderful stay and the friendliest of hospitality.

Summary: We had such a lovely stay in Strathcarron. We honestly didn’t know what to expect when we arrived, as we had mainly chosen the place because of its great location for exploring the area by car. From the moment we arrived, though, we felt so welcome. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly. There was just such a lovely, genuine atmosphere about the place, and we immediately felt comfortable and at home.

Summary: Kate gave us a warm welcome on arrival, and we were delighted with our room, so pretty and comfortable. After a rainy day it felt good to sit by the window, drink tea and read. Hot, hot water and a nice long bathtub! Breakfast was delicious and the view lovely. Mary was so friendly, it was a pleasure to chat and learn a little about the community she loves.

Summary: Staff were amazing and so friendly. It was during the world cup so each table were given name cards and national flags, lovely little touch.

Summary: Excellent jumping off point for Skye, reasonable pricing considering the hotel is only a short drive away from the bridge. Very peaceful Excellent owners. Good quality of food, cooked fresh to order.
