Positive: Cute house with view of the ocean from kitchen windows. Nice open floor plan. Outdoor shower.

Negative: Floors were dirty. Lots of dog hair on rugs and visible crud on bathroom floors. There was a rodent problem in the attic or on the roof we heard at night, so we had to move halfway through our trip. Also it had 3 bedrooms but only 1 shower.

Summary: Cute house but we didn't have a good experience there

Positive: This home is VERY well stocked and the furnishings are comfortable and stylish. There are lots of games, movies, beach chairs, beach towels & blankets, dog leashes, etc. The kitchen has pretty much everything you would want or need plus some extras-- blender, large stock pots, spices, Keurig, electric kettle, lots of dishes. The location is great, only one block from the beach.

Negative: Early check in was requested and confirmed months before arrival and confirmed again the day before arrival. The day of arrival I received a text indicating that check in was delayed. The bed linens are end of life--completely pilled and stained. The sheets, blankets and coverlets had black marks and quite a bit of hair on them. I ended up doing 4 loads of laundry in an attempt to get the bedding clean. When I went to change the sheets on the bed, I discovered a 6" yellow stain on the mattress pad. This is not what any guest wants to see at a vacation home... The ice maker on the refrigerator doesn't work and judging from the laminated sign "Ice Maker Out of Order", there is apparently no plan to get it fixed. The lint trap on the dryer does not fully seat in the opening and as a result there is a sharp edge exposed that cuts the items being dried. Four of my teenage daughter's tops were damaged-- one top was ripped, three others were camisoles with the straps ripped off.

Positive: The space was wonderful for us three women. We had our own bedrooms, comfortable beds, and having an extra bathroom really was a plus. The kitchen is well laid out, and the view of the ocean is worth not having a direct path to the shore. The little sunroof is a pleasant bonus. Parking is easy.

Negative: Several light bulbs were burned out, making lighting bad. The Keurig coffee pot set out didn't work, but we found a second one stored in the cabinet that did, the fireplace doesn't have a grate so we couldn't use our Presto log, it was very, very wet during our trip and the house was uncomfortably cold at first but using the space heaters in the bedrooms (only source of heat for those rooms) and the minisplit in the main room got it comfortable after awhile. We had to hunt for the coffee as it was stored below. Tea was handy near the electric pot. One of the couches smells of urine, and the throw had animal hair on it. This house has the potential to be a number 1 but needs more attention.

Positive: The property was very nice. Great location. Close to the beach. The furnishings were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked.
