Positive: The location is ideal, just a short walk from the dunes and the beach. The room is cozy and comfortable and the cleaning staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful! Also, all the restaurants at the beach are great with wonderful staff as well.

Negative: A shelf inside the shower for toiletries would be a really nice addition. Also, just something to be aware of: in our room, the shower had a glass wall, making it — and therefore you — fully visible from the bed and a big part of the room. And while the toilet is nicely tucked away behind a corner and thick walls, it doesn’t have a door, so you’ll want to be comfortable with the person you’re sharing the room with. Small suggestion: We had asked beforehand, but it would be helpful if the listing is a bit more clear that guests staying with a dog will be placed in a room on the ground floor. These are just a few FYIs and helpful tips. Overall, it truly is a wonderful spot!

Positive: The hotel location was nice and room was beautiful.

Negative: I didn't like the breakfast. There was only one fruit option, kiwi, which was very sour. And there was only yoghurt with sugar. But they were attentive and offered me an omelette with salad. There was no door separating the bedroom from the bathroom.

Summary: For a Dutch beach, it's not too bad.

Positive: Zoomers is situated on top/between the dunes and only a few steps away from the beach. It feels like coming home to a cozy apartment each time you return. You enter with a manual code or whatsapp / digi unlock request. Upon arrival a very friendly cleaning staff member that happened to be working pointed us towards our room. I had no problem with there not being staff on site, as it was clearly communicated everywhere how to reach someone. On the frontside of the building there’s also a shop with the same plates and cups for sale and accessories for use on the beach. They also have their own restaurant, walking distance. When I booked they warned for works outside the building but we experienced or saw none, so I think it was done. We stayed in ‘duinkamer 6’ which meant our balcony had a view towards the dunes. You enter via the ground floor, no steps on this side to get to the room. We were situated on the right side of the building, meaning if you look left over the edge from the balcony you can see a distant view of the parking-lot situated between the dunes. It sounds unfortunate but it has a cool big ol’ school-bus on it and nature, so it’s not a back alley view. We used the paid parking ourselves. Sitting on those rocking chairs on the balcony you actually look forward towards the dunes which was nice and wind-free. No experience of noise or anything inside and out. The room has a modern design interior with art and other decorative stuff around the room. Before we got here, we checked many of the reviews and I think they keep improving the place based on those, which I find a quality of a good host. Rooms with a stove etc usually grow over time (eq kitchenwares). During our stay we actually noticed they gave us an extra pan, not sure if it was missing or because we had packs of soup on the counter. :) There was a big air conditioning system hanging just above the ground, which cools the room well.

Negative: Dislike is a big word, the doorless toilet is a bit awkward, but if you gotta you gotta :)

Positive: The location is great. The room is a good size and nicely decorated. The balcony is large and inviting. The place is dog friendly.

Negative: Future guests should know: 1) dog friendly rooms are located on the ground floor only, and these rooms don't have a beach view, 2) parking lot is large and is close to the building, but is not free and getting from the parking and back requires walking a very long stairs - a guest needs to be physically able to do so, 3) the toilet is located inside the room and designed not to have a door - everything you do in the toilet is known to everyone in the kitchen and the room itself.

Positive: The breakfast at this location exceeded my expectations. It was a delicious, unlimited breakfast, and the staff was exceptionally friendly. My friend and I were going for a beach walk, and they even offered us a doggy bag with sandwiches to take along. The food was of high quality, and I enjoyed every bite, especially the oat milk cappuccinos. Highly recommend!

Negative: While traveling with a friend, the bathroom setup was a bit uncomfortable. The toilet had no door, and the shower had a glass wall facing the bedroom. To create some privacy, we had to place the room divider and cover it with a throw. This setup made things slightly awkward during our stay.
