Positive: My family and I had such a wonderful time at STORY. We especially adored the incredibly hospitable staff -- Amaa at the front desk was incredibly present, kind, and attentive to our needs. The beach and pool were fabulous and relaxing, and I would especially recommend going on the free snorkeling excursion the hotel offers. The hotel campus was also stunning and I miss it so much already! Felt like I was in heaven for a week.
Negative: The food was good, but the options felt slightly repetitive.

Positive: We were on vacation with our family, including our adult daughter. We booked a room with a balcony and specified that there would be three of us. This was the right choice, as ground-level rooms offer less privacy, and in the rain, the mini patio is unusable. The room was spacious, comfortable, and convenient. Everything was very clean, functional, and well-maintained. The entire hotel offers a high level of comfort, as expected from a five-star hotel. Тhe hotel staff is very friendly and provides excellent service; every request is handled quickly and efficiently. A special thank you to Mrs. Dorothy, from the moment we checked in, for her personal involvement and concern for our vacation. On our last day, due to bad weather, she extended our checkout free of charge so we could wait out the rain in our room before checking out.

Positive: Gorgeous property (stretch to a Villa if you can - well worth it), but even better were the fabulous staff who basically can't do enough for you. Big thanks to Mandy and her team - if only we had a fast track to get there again from Australia. My wife and I would recommend Story to anyone looking for a lovely, relaxing, care-free break. Interestingly we visited Four Seasons as a day trip - much prefer Story.
Negative: The fact that we had to check out. Apart from this, we could not fault a thing. Nothing more to say.
Summary: Whatever Star Rating is calculated here - it would not be enough for this piece of Heaven!

Positive: The location is perfect, in a long pretty beach, close to other restaurants. We could see turtles snorkeling just in front of the hotel. The sunset from the hotel is gorgeous. Staff is always ready to help (a huge thanks to Thinzar that made our stay very comfortable).
