Positive: Storsand Gard is a large mixed campsite about 25 minutes bus ride from Trondheim. I staying in an apartment in a former farmhouse on site. It had been recently converted, was very spacious, comfortable and nicely equipped. There was lots of good free parking. There was a small shop on site and a fantastic bakery about 10 minutes walk away. The bus stop outside the site had regular services into Trondheim which was perfect. The staff was lovely and very helpful.

Summary: The perfect location to visit Trondheim without the hassle of entering the city.

Negative: We arrived in one of the hottest days which was unheard of and there is no air-conditioning, but in fairness it was exceptionally hot and unusual for the area which the staff explained, but we were provided fans which helps slightly.

Positive: Quaint and historic renovated old farmhouse. The host upgraded us to a larger and nicer apartment due to issues with the one orginally booked. Great views of the ocean and surrounding countryside; very quiet place.
Negative: Nearest grocery store was miles away; not a lot of restaurants in the area.
Summary: Nice facilities in a quiet and peaceful setting; great place for a large family.
