A secluded house nestled away from the public, this house is close to everything, but has the feel that the world is a mile away. Sit on the porch and watch the deer walking their trail , or listen to the creek babble in the distance. A mile north of the house is Lake Ontario with a large park and miles of trails, fishing pier and a boat launch nearby. Two miles to the south you will find another park with a walking trail, fishing and the expressway leading to Rochester or wine trails. The famous Wegman's Grocery Store and Webster shopping plaza is located right next to the expressway. The stone walls on this cottage are the original walls of an old barn which my Grandmother incorporated in building her home. At night it has been known to hear her rustling about in the kitchen. Have no fear !! Grandma is very loving and welcoming to all visitors !

Summary: It all started with our amazing host Wendy. Got us settled in showed us how to feed the deer and was able to come by and help get a heater turned on for us Florida people freezing in the northern New York climate I cannot strongly suggest staying here enough. The character and charm of this cottage is off the charts.

Summary: The space was comfortable, quaint and clean .. the property is beautiful and wildlife fun to watch. My dog and I enjoyed walks on the property. The host Wendy is kind and accommodating. Would have loved to have stayed longer..

Summary: We had a fantastic time at this woodland get away. Feeding the deer and enjoying wildlife in the morning was magical. House is perfect and comfortable. Everything was kindly thought of and exceptionally clean. Our dog and kids had the times of their lives. We enjoyed the close proximity to wegmans as well

Summary: Overall, it was an enjoyable stay. It was very nice to have some food staples in the refridgerator. The interior was charming as well as the yard. We enjoyed the deer and our grandson loved feeding and watching them.I do want to mention that the tub drained slow or at times was stopped up. Had to plunge it a couple of times.
