Positive: Loved the house and it is in a great position just up from the harbour and restaurants with only a few minutes walk to the shopping area. The main room downstairs- kitchen and seating - is comfortable and well equipped. Tended to leave the door open for light and air when having breakfast as there is only a tiny outdoor space upstairs, not enough to eat in - although that was pleasant to sit with a evening drink for a while. The upstairs lounge with TV (we don’t use but others might) was also comfortable but would only really seat two or three. The hosts were great - very informative and helpful. They responded well when we had an issue with the washing machine - would suggest instructions in English for non Greek travellers would be helpful as none of us had used a top loader before. The main bedroom was lovely with plenty of wardrobe space - however, there was nothing for the second mezzanine bedroom. The mezzanine bedroom was comfortable enough - although we were slightly surprised as hadn’t expected it - but probably would be better for a family rather than two couples as there was nowhere to put belongings except in the lounge area or share the main bedroom’s wardrobes. However, it was fine.

Negative: Nowhere to store belongings for mezzanine bedroom - we emptied a cupboard in the lounge and used that. Otherwise, nothing to dislike. You are so close to the harbour that outside space is unnecessary. (I think that the steep stairs to the mezzanine could be problematic for very young children or infirm adults so be aware. We were fine with them)

Summary: Ideal position in a lovely stone house.

Positive: I booked this house for my parents’ holiday, and they had a wonderful time. The house was comfortable, clean, and very well-equipped. The host, Petros, was incredibly helpful and kind. Because of this great experience, we’ll definitely choose Petros’s house again for our next trip to Samos!

Positive: In the heart of Pythagoreio. Wonderfully appointed and soothing decor- great kitchen/table area to gather around and additional second floor family room. Luxurious but comfortable. The host thought of everything- snacks, fruit, juice eggs beer etc. Air conditioning worked great. Shutters made it easy to darken rooms for sleeping and naps. Private Parking spot for car within a few blocks.

Negative: There was nothing we did not like but there are steps to get to the bedrooms- the one bedroom is located on 3rd floor ( kind bed) and must go to 2nd floor for bathroom. We were 2 couples in early 70’s so worked out okay for us but thought I’d mention in case someone couldn’t do steps.

Summary: We absolutely loved the home! It felt like a little oasis from the business of the island center. Gorgeous home!

Positive: We had a fabulous time in Samos and really enjoyed staying in Petros's StoneVilla. The villa was thoroughly cleaned and prepared for our stay. Every detail was thought through. There are 3 ACs in the house and makes it extremely comfortable to cool down separate areas. The villa is very close to the beach and the city center of Pythagorio which makes it easy to access everywhere by walking. Petros went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pleasant. He gave me a ride to the airport to pick up my rental car and provided a parking spot nearby to make it easy for us. Overall, we had a wonderful stay in Samos and in StoneVilla.

Negative: Nothing I can think of.

Summary: One of the best vacations we had in the recent years!

Positive: Beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and spacious villa with everything we needed for a peaceful, relaxing, and perfect stay in Pythagoreio. The villa is very close to everything -- a nice beach, excellent restaurants, a bakery, grocery markets, historic sites, ATMs, a post office, and a wide variety of shops are a short walk away. Petros is a perfect host who responded quickly to all our questions during our stay -- and even kindly booked a taxi for us when it was time for us to sadly leave!

Negative: We loved everything about Stone Villa! We felt completely at home.

Positive: Amazing property that was a dream to stay in! The renovation of the original stone townhouse in the heart of town was fabulous. Incredible attention to every detail, and everything was clean and modern. Lots of space on both floors, and the staircase is easy to manage compared to some other two-story island properties we stayed at. The furnishings and original artwork throughout the house made it really special. The area was perfect, a stone's throw from the harbor, yet quiet and charming in the side streets. The host was attentive. Reserved parking nearby (~100 m) made it convenient.

Negative: Wish it had a little larger outdoor area, but do appreciate the effort that went into creating the little sitting area that does exist upstairs. We used it every evening. [Maybe there is room for a little garden behind the house?]

Positive: There was more than anything you could think of in a house. Electronic appliances, dishwasher and washing machine, oven… It was a very comfortable holiday for us as a family with children. Since we said we would come with the child, he made extra expenses such as an extra baby food set, shower set, and sleeping bed. In addition, the location of the house was within walking distance to the city center and the sea. Petros was a very attentive host. If I come to Samos again, I will stay here without hesitation.
