Summary: The bathtub was black on the bottom of the tub. I went to a dollar store and picked up some bleach and cleaned the bottom of the tub. Won’t be staying there again.

Summary: I liked the hostess, when i checked in. She was very nice. What i didn't like was, the room smelled dirty but didnt see bugs. The mattress was okay, could upgrade. The entire room of furniture was really outdated, but we did stay a extra night also. They are dog friendly

Summary: For what it is, the Stone Brook Inn is a perfectly acceptable and pleasant motel. HOWEVER, one must acknowledge going in what it is: a cheap hotel for you to sleep in during your weekend at the lake. It is not an extraordinarily NICE hotel. It's not a Hampton or Holiday Inn. It's a cheap, local, hotel. As such, while it was far from the nicest hotel I had ever stayed at, I also didn't live in fear of needing to update my tetanus shot if I scratched myself on something. Admittedly, I did spend the last morning we were there smelling something vaguely like mold, and the state of the bottom of the shower curtain made me steer very clear of it, but other than that, it was all very clean. Also, the service was exceptional- when we discovered that my dad had accidentally booked a smoking room, the lady at the desk asked how long we were staying, checked over her options, and moved us to a non-smoking room, no extra charge. Having a fully working fridge, wifi, and microwave was also really nice! All in all, it's not that impressive a hotel, but it certainly does the job we needed it to. Just don't expect the lap of luxury.

Summary: A great deal for the money you pay. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the shower was hot and with good water pressure. The family who runs it were friendly and helpful.
