Summary: Lovely grand building we have stayed here a few times, it’s a bit faded grandeur now. But very clean and that’s all you need from a hotel room.

Summary: I had a lovely Garden room which was light, airy and cool. Plenty of space and a large bathroom. Would be very happy to stay in that room again!

Summary: Room was ok, but quite scruffy and old. TV remote didn’t work with the TV…which might seem like a first world problem…but actually is a hassle if you stay for any length of time! Aircon worked ok, but, again didn’t seem to hook up with the remote in the room The room was away from the main building - in the Garden are- so very quiet.

Summary: Stoke place is a very old Manor House converted into a Hotel. The staff are brilliant, but the hotel itself could do with some investment. I stayed in the annexe part of the hotel, which is a 1 min walk from the main house/hotel. It was OK. The room only had blinds, no curtains, so not as dark as I would have liked. The bathroom was amazing ! In general very nice, not cheap in the bar, but very good overall. Amazing grounds !

Summary: I was really impressed with Stoke Place Hotel. Our room was comfortable and spacious, the staff were helpful and friendly. We had our breakfast included and it was really good, a choice of cereals, freshly prepared fruit, yogurts and pastries. This was followed by a cooked to order selection from the menu. I chose parts of the full English, my partner had waffles and maple syrup. There were also Avocado and Eggs Benedict amongst other things. I'd definitely stay again.

Summary: Quaint little pub hotel. Nice breakfast. Bed is comfy. Room was quite warm for sleeping and our window didn't open as we were on the ground floor but otherwise just fine. I would recommend this hotel.
